Bio - Ade Bowen The Writer
Ade Bowen is a children's entertainer, writer, and illustrator. He currently lives in Weston super Mare with his wife, two daughters, two cats, and a Jack Russell. Since May 2001 Ade has delivered over 2,500 parties, corporate events, and shows. In his spare time, he likes to perform in pantomime (oh yes he does) and stand-up comedy, which he describes as the scariest thing ever. Ade blends his stand-up comedy and interactive entertainment style into his writing.
Schools
Ade is keen to get children away from their tablets and TV screens and into more creative activities. He is available to go into schools and talk about the book. There are a number of great opportunities available.

Let’s get creative! Ade’s first book ‘The Astounding Adventure of Mr Bown’s’ has been well received. His writing style has been described as ‘Enid Blyton, but with jokes.
Illustrator
Ade is a freelance illustrator. His credits include illustrating his own book, ‘The Astounding Adventure of Mr Bowns’, and drawing the backgrounds on the TV pilot episode ‘Ade Venture and the Temple of Who”. Primarily a pencil and ink pen artist, he has ventured into colour with colour pencil and copic colour markers. He is available for illustrating commissions. Get in touch.
Pre-Schools
Ade is offering free author visits to pre schools to promote the book. The visit includes games, magic, puppets and of course storytelling.
